AutoFlow now watches the door: a flow can greet a user as they open a card, ask a question on their way out โ€“ and, if it has to, simply not let them leave. ๐Ÿšช๐Ÿ’ฌ

Featuresโ€‹

  • Run a flow the moment a user opens one of 16 supported card pages โ€“ in their own session and before the page is on screen, so it can point out what matters about that record or keep the page from opening at all (CHN-474)
  • Run a flow when a user closes one of those pages, and hold the page open with the new "Prevent page close" step while telling them what is still missing (CHN-478)
  • Ask the user a yes/no question in the middle of a flow with the new "Confirm dialog" step and branch on their answer, the way "Decision" does but with a person deciding โ€“ offered in the page triggers (CHN-479)
  • Show a "Send notification" message as a dialog the user has to acknowledge instead of a notification they are free to ignore, with flows built before this option carrying on as notifications (CHN-475)
  • Pick a table an interactive document trigger does not support and you now hear about it while you configure the step, the flow refuses to publish instead of going live and never firing, and "Request this table" sends the table straight to us โ€“ and your partner can add their own tables through a small companion extension (CHN-473)
  • Two AutoFlow roles instead of one: mse365 AF ALL for everyone who builds flows, and the new mse365 AF ADMIN for publishing, setup, activation, licensing and credentials โ€“ and triggering a flow needs no AutoFlow permission set at all, so an ordinary user's purchase invoice can start one (CHN-465)

Bugfixesโ€‹

  • The "Set element" step no longer clears the record reference you picked when the configuration is saved (CHN-480)
  • Test Run on the HTTP Request step no longer aborts with "An error occurred and the transaction is stopped" when the step uses an OAuth2 credential (CHN-462)
  • A SmartDate without a function around it โ€“ a plain date or a bare {{field}} โ€“ now honours its format string instead of silently dropping it (CHN-469)
