v27.0.37 - 09/27/2026

· 2 min read

A release about having the last word: your own approval instead of Business Central's, a question before anything gets released or posted, and a gallery you can tidy up again. Plus a few runs that used to give up halfway. ✍️

Features

  • A new interactive trigger "When a document is reopened" runs your flow before a sales or purchase document is reopened from the page – it can prevent the reopen, ask the user first, or reopen the document its own way (CHN-512)
  • "Skip standard processing" on the "Set Field Values" step saves a released or reopened document with your flow's values instead of letting Business Central release or reopen it – enough to park the document in Pending Approval and run an approval process of your own (CHN-512)
  • The "Confirm dialog" step now also works in "When a document is released" and "When a document is posted" flows, so you can ask before a release or a posting goes through (CHN-510)
  • You can remove one of your own templates from the gallery again: the delete action is back in the AutoFlow Template Gallery in Business Central, where it is available to AutoFlow administrators (CHN-496)
  • A template another organisation shared with you now arrives labelled "Shared with me", with the publishing organisation's name next to it and a filter that appears as soon as anything has been shared with you (CHN-494)

Bugfixes

  • A flow started straight from a document or a page action no longer stops part way through with "The operation was canceled." – the run now completes and leaves a full execution and log trail behind (CHN-495)
  • A block of steps copied and pasted at a different level now runs there too, instead of failing mid-execution because a step was looked for at the depth it was copied from. Flows already saved that way repair themselves (CHN-500)
  • Text pasted into a SmartText field no longer leaves an empty line at the start or the end. That invisible line break could stop a Parser with a RegEx selector from matching further down the flow (CHN-498)
